The Way of Tea
Enter the tea ceremony, a moment to savour wild living tea in silence. Cha Dao - The Way of Tea - is an ancient Chinese practice that honours tea as a spiritual elixir for calming the mind and connecting us back with nature. It’s a chance to just be, reflect, and attune to your inner voice. Tea helps us to listen to our body and heart, and see the extraordinary in the ordinary while feeling in harmony and presence. She connects us back to what we already know by simply breathing and being alive. She allows us to rest from all that has been and makes space for all that will come.
Tea ceremonies from the beginning of time have been used to connect people. Everyone becomes equal - sitting on a floor, drinking the same tea from the same kind of bowls. All the mind-made social systems stay behind. It’s not important where we are coming from and where we are going. We all will be one. And when the bowls will be empty, the hearts will be full.
Throughout the tea ceremony we will be enjoying several bowls of wild living tea in silence, to let tea become your guide, helping you listen to your body and heart. Please be mindful, that tea might contain caffeine.
LĪVA FRANKE
Līva grew up in Latvia honouring nature’s cycles, pagan rituals, and gathering herbal teas. That’s where she fell in love with the leaf to later find herself diving deeper into “The Way of Tea” practice in the ‘Tea Sage Hut Center’ in Taiwan. Now she brings tea medicine wherever she goes.

After years of working with the written word in different mediums and living in an artist residency in Mexico while having a degree in communication science herself, Līva still hasn’t found a better communicator than tea. Tea energy is very gentle, meets us exactly where we are, and gives exactly what is needed. Tea served ceremonially helps us dive deeper into the inner dialog and connects us back to nature.
Līva wants to have an impact on this world in the way life runs through her. How tea changes her inspires her to change for tea. She wants to become a vessel of life and all its wonders and bring the medicine of Tea and Ceremony wherever she goes. Let her be at the service and serve you some tea.
