  • Laura initially trained as educator, later becoming a yoga instructor in Bali (200h// Hatha-Vinyasa// Peaceful Warriors) where she taught on Gili Islands. Subsequently, she pursued studies in dance and movement pedagogy in social work in Potsdam. Currently, she works also as a movement therapist in a day clinic for children and adolescents.

Since returning to Neukölln in 2017, the Dharma Studio and its surrounding community has been both a playground and a living room for Laura, offering a space where she can playfully explore and cultivate her spiritual practice, providing a comfortable environment for personal ongoing growth. Therefore she is eager to pass on this experience, creating a welcoming space where others can be and share.

Her Classes are a blend of Hatha- Vinyasa Yoga, incorporating both classical Dharma principles and modern approaches. Therapeutic and movement pedagogy concepts, such as Laban and Bartenieff Movement Analysis, Loving-Kindness Meditations influenced by Tara Brach and radical acceptance out of DBT by Marsha Linehan, are also integrated. Additionally, music is used as a method to deepen the practice.

Drop by to start feeling again. Time to move.

  • This class supports you in your morning routine, lifting you up to be focused and freshly motivated for the day. We will be diving through a Hatha-Vinyasa Flow, including classical Dharma Yoga Asanas as well as modern adapted ones. The practice furthermore is highly influenced by methods of therapeutic movement concepts, short Metta Meditations and Music.

The time we spend together is therefore strictly understood as an emotional and physical safe space where everybody is allowed to feel and experience themselves in movement.

Bring all you have to the mat -  it's time to create again.

  • This Yin Yoga class is to be understood as a “Quiet Practice”. It is a calm and meditative approach to our inner life with a simultaneous focus on our own anatomy. The physical postures, mostly close to the ground, are held for 3-8 minutes. It's like sinking deeper into the posture little by little.

This can partially alleviate tension and tension in the deeper muscle system, connective tissue and fascia. In this practice we will also use many aids such as bolsters, blankets and blocks etc. And the moon will soon or later also have an important role in class.

The time we spend together is strictly understood as an emotional and physical safe space where everybody is allowed to feel and experience themselves in rest. Calm down here.
